Useful Tutorials for understanding the Jam Rooms and some audio control settings.
You'll need to signup here but its free.
What you can do here
- After signing up for the Collaboration network, you'll be able to collaborate with other OJS members on any music that has been uploaded to the network.
- This means, you can go into other music files that have been uploaded by other OJS members, download the file to your computer, open it in the reaper recorder (which there is a download link to) click here for download.
- Now you have the music file downloaded into the reaper recorder you can add any music tracks you choose to it and when done, re upload it back to the OJS Collaboration Network.
Note: The reaper recorder is free for 30 days but is still fully functional after that , just will have a 6 second sales pitch. It's only 3.5 mb and a very nice unit, will record right out of the Jam Rooms "LIVE JAMS".
These are great recorder's easy to use and can Record Live Jams right out of the Jam Rooms as well as Use in the Collaboration Network.
Reaper says 30 day free trial but still works fully functional after that, just has a 6 second sales pitch.
Audacity is what I use and it is very easy to learn. It also is free all the way through.
