Hello, I just discovered this site a few hours ago and I'm quite happy I'd decided to google "online jam" on a whim.
I hope to become a frequent visitor and do a lot of learning, looks like a great collection of info, media people etc. Thanks for putting up the site! I know I'll learn a lot here, but I'd like it if any of the skills I possess turn out to be useful for sharing with others so that I can give AND receive while here.
One reason I'm writing was because If there's a formal "code of conduct" type document for site members I haven't run across it yet and I was thinking about using a ... well, I guess maybe "R" rated pic as my background, most likely artistically modified and decorated to abstract anything you wouldn't necessarily want your 12 year randomly exposed to. I like art, and I appreciate the female form in general, but also in artwork. so I wanted to ask what the general attitude toward the use of background art and pictures that some people might consider "racy" was. I'm sure we don't want this to be one of those sites where people post pornographic closeups of themselves and others or their "parts", so I'm not asking if it's ok to post pornographic images by any means. Since there are folks out there who find a girl in a Hooter's uniform offensive, I wanted to find out if you could give me just a general idea of what's ok and what isn't. These days you can't ever be sure if you might not invoke the wrath of a grumpy octogenerian or be accused of warping the mind of a 3 year old who's allowed to be on the net unsupervised because of something you post or write. Sorry for rattling on, but that brings up another question. Do lyrics in anything you upload have to be squeaky clean and Wal-mart acceptable? ;)
Thanks for a cool site and in advance for any clarification on content restrictions you can enlighten me with.
